This set includes a frame and an obi with a pine motif woven in gold thread.

The pine, said to live for a thousand years and remain evergreen through all seasons, is considered a symbol of longevity and a highly auspicious pattern.

It is also believed to possess strong vitality and to be inhabited by spirits. As a sacred tree where deities descend, pine is traditionally displayed during the New Year in Japan to welcome the year's gods.

This obi is well-suited for spaces that receive guests, such as entrances, lobbies, and living rooms.
